Distinctive Aging Process
Ron Centenario’s 25 Year Gran Reserva utilizes the Continuous Aging System, a unique adaptation of the renowned Solera method. This system strategically layers the barrels at different levels, with the oldest rums placed at the bottom (known as Solera). The younger rums are at higher levels (Criaderas), allowing the aging process to cascade downwards. This method ensures that each bottle is an exceptional blend of rums of various ages. Only 25% of the liquid from the Solera level is extracted for bottling, guaranteeing a premium quality rum.
